Event: Nova Aquilae 2015 = ASASSN 15-qd = PNV J19215012+1509248

Independent discovery by:
- Koichi Itagaki (Teppo-cho, Yamagata, Japan), reported by S. Nakano
(Sumoto, Japan)
- All-Sky Automated Survey for Supernovae (ASAS-SN,
http://www.astronomy.ohio-state.edu/~as ... ndex.shtml),
reported by B. J. Shappee (Hubble Fellow, Carnegie Observatories) et al.

Discovery magnitude:
- Itagaki: 12.4 unfiltered, using a 0.21-m f/3.0 reflector
- ASAS-SN: 15.2 V

Discovery date:
- Itagaki: 2015 October 5.548 UT
- ASAS-SN: 2015 October 01.29 UT

Coordinates (2000.0): R.A. 19 21 50.15 Dec. +15 09 24.8 (from VSX)

Spectra: Originally reported as a U Gem-type dwarf nova, ASASSN-15qd
was reclassified as a highly reddened classical nova based on
spectroscopic observations obtained by M. Fujii (Okayama, Japan) on
2015 October 5.598 UT and reported by H. Maehara (Okayama
Astrophysical Observatory, NAOJ).

Zgodnie z wydanym kilka dni temu Cyrkularzem #9278 CBAT, nowej nadano oznaczenie katalogowe V1831 Aquilae. Krótki opis nowej i jej odkrycia znajdzie się w najbliższym numerze Proximy.
